Country living here we come...

We left Volpaia at the crack of noon after eating some more pastries, drinking some more coffee and taking in the last of the views.
Ley and Tessa walked around in the morning on the dirt road through the forest to Panzano and saw Volpaia from another point of view.

Unfortunately we had the incorrect coordinates at first for our farm stay so we delayed our arrival to Locanda Valle Nuova by an hour and some extra curvy road driving.  Luckily, our host Giulia had everything prepared in our Ikea furnished apartment on her family's 185 acre farm. Our fridge was stocked with fruit, zucchini and eggs from their chickens (our new neighbors).

We cooked our first dinner in Italy using the Italian ingredients we picked up near Genova: pesto, pasta, tomatoes and wine.  What else do you need?
