Siena Day 2

All around town you see signs like this announcing the Palio and participating neighborhoods

Our apartment is actually the first window in the arch here and has turned out to be a great spot in the middle of all the action.

We returned to the Piazza del Campo to see the civic museum.

Here is the entrance to the municipal museum. No photos allowed inside. Ley went back 13 years later to see the murals inside of the unification of Italy around 1860.  He also discovered a brick contemporary art gallery in the catacombs below the building.  Also great views from 4th floor.

Don't you love these incredible street views! Everyone's different and new.

Il duomo takes my breath away.

The floor is an art gallery itself.

Marisa takes in the detail.

Ofie and Ley are still celebrating...
